- Miami
Spend lots of time basking in the sun, even if you’re not staying at a beachfront hotel with complimentary lounge chairs and towel service, you can still share the sand at Lummus Park in South Beach. When it comes to nightlife, skip the expensive clubs and check out the more affordable cultural events. Do not plan your meals at the hotel or resort you reside in because some of the city’s hotels contain numerous restaurants that offer mediocre food for gut-wrenching prices.
- Chicago
If you want to see numerous of the city’s top attractions and not break the bank it would be worth your while to purchase a Chicago City PASS. The pass grants you entrance to five popular attractions, including popular places such as the Art Institute of Chicago, for under $100. Eat deep-dish pizza. Do not rent a car, get to most places in the city by mass transit, and parking fees can cost you anywhere from $30 to $60 a day.
- San Francisco
Do take a cable car ride, for just a handful of dollars visitors can enjoy the iconic experience of the city’s steep hills on a San Francisco cable car. You can also visit and walk across the Golden State Bridge at no charge. You might also venture to the congregation of food trucks at the SOMA Food Park. Stay in small boutique hotels and bed-and-breakfasts rather than expensive hotels. There is no need for rental cars because the public transportation makes it easy to get around.
- Los Angeles
Do visit the stars for free in front of the theatre. If you want to shop, but don’t want to max out your credit cards, pick up a souvenir or two in Venice Beach. Eat tacos, ramen and dumplings in LA. which are very popular at most local restaurants. Stay in a room close to the attractions you’re interested in seeing. LA is a known city with terrible traffic, so you’ll want to stay as close as possible to the things to do. This will save you time and gas money.
- New York City
Spend time strolling through the highly sought out Central Park, which is free of admission. Eat bagels, pizza and really just about any cuisine imaginable, and you won’t break the bank, you will find most vendors on the sidewalks to visit. Stay Uptown Harlem or Brooklyn versus Downtown Manhattan to save some cash. Minimize using taxis for transportation and bring sneakers to walk the blocks. Use public transportation, as often as possible it will save you money and give you the real NYC experience.
