DO’S:
- If traveling by car, prepare your pet with frequent car rides so he/she can get use to the longer car ride
- Double check your hotel arrangements to make sure they accept pets and to see if there is an additional fee
- Check your airlines requirements and restrictions for the safety of your pet and others
- Before traveling, get your pet up to date with all of his shots and get copies of their medical records
- Bring enough food that will last
- Bring a crate
- Have leash on at all times
Don’ts:
- Don’t forget to bring identification such as; collar id tag and medical records
- Don’t leave your pet in the car on those very hot days
- Don’t forget your first aid kit
- Don’t forget to remind the flight attendant and other employees at the airport
- Don’t leave your pet out and unattended
